Project description

This road trip is meant to be a reenactment of my winter road trip adventure from 2018. But this time, I will be driving the route during the summer, and I can't wait to experience the many beautiful destinations in a completely different season!

Route length: About 7.000-8.000 km
Travel duration: About 8 weeks

The route

Starting from Puttgarden on Fehmarn Island, the journey continues with a ferry to Denmark, and from there across the Øresund Bridge to Sweden. In Sweden, a detour to the island of Öland is planned. From there, the journey continues northwards, more or less straight ahead, towards the Finnish border. The next big goal is the North Cape, which I couldn't reach on my winter road trip due to an avalanche blocking the road. Hopefully, it will work out this time! From the northernmost tip of Europe, the journey continues with a detour to the Lofoten Islands and then back southwards, taking a ferry back to Denmark and Germany.
